He sings since he is eigh years old. From a musicians family with an accordionist grand-father, his father noticing that his only interest was music bought him his first guitare. With origins from France and Spain, he passed his early childhood in the south of France, on the edge of the mediterranean sea near Marseille, thereafter in the french south-west in Cahors. There he gave concerts either all alone, or with amateur bands. He've been finalist of the Guy Lux's emission " Défendez vos couleurs" (Defend your colors) where he represented the city of Cahors, and was positively contacted by Jean-Marc Gravelat and Patrick Roy, french TV animator on TF1, and both of them animators on Radio Monte-Carlo. He then went back in the french Midi, near

  Toulon, where the local newspaper Var-Matin République and several local radios asked for him. He became no.1 of the Radio Côte Varoise chart. He gave several song recitals on-the-site or producted by radios. He was invited in "La gazette en chanson", an emission organised by Var-Matin. He assumed the first part of a famous french band, "la Bande à Basile", on Morillon beach in Toulon, where he've been ovationed by more than 4000 people.

  He was invited to a TV emission on FR3 Marseille, on line from the Toulon's annual Fair, animated by the french variety singer Vincent Lamy. He've been singing for a ime using the pseudonym "Michel de la Lumière", but he finally came back to the use of his real name, Martial Marey. A career marked by stops and come-backs, which always took him back to his first passion, that is, singing.

  He use to sing for our pleasure, about tropical sun, coconuts, blue sea, a small piece of paradise to take us into the land of dreams, to forget everyday problems...!
